about green
So, what is "green," really? We hear things like, "going green," but what does it mean?
Well,
I think that it can mean a lot of things... eco-friendly, non-toxic,
natural, organic, reusable, sustainably grown, fair-traded, locally made or just
living more simply.
All of our products are green
in some aspect...
By using cloth diapers, you are keeping almost 9,000 diapers per baby out of the landfill!
By "upcycling" cloth and wool into new bags, we are keeping clothing
out of the landfill (and decreasing our consumerism for new products).
By
using natural laundry soap you are keeping hazardous chemicals out of
our water supply, and also protecting your family's skin.
By purchasing locally made products, you save loads of fuel for transport, and you support small businesses
(and their families)!
By "wearing" your baby in a sling, you reduce the need for contraptions
(usually made from plastic) to hold your baby and increase bonding.
By breastfeeding and using reusable nursing pads, you give your baby the best nutrition possible with no waste.
By purchasing organic cotton or hemp materials you keep tons of harmful pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers out of our soil and water supply.
