The cost of the diaper trial is a $200 refundable deposit (upon return) plus a $30 rental fee. See details below.

Although some trial packages may be ready immediately, please allow up to 2 weeks after ordering to ensure we have the correct diaper sizes available for your baby.

Do all the options and the lingo confuse you? If so, then this is the route for you! You can take our diapers on a test drive for 2 weeks to help you decide which ones fit your baby and your lifestyle the best.

Diaper Trial Explained

We will give you one of each of the best selling diapers on the market (everything from one size to prefolds), plus all the accessories you will need. You can give them a spin and see just how easy cloth diapering can be. You'll have enough diapers for 15 diaper changes before you'll have to wash. Ideally, you would purchase enough diapers to last you two full days between washing, so keep that in mind as you test out these diapers.

The price reflects the refundable deposit plus the rental fee. If you decide you want to keep some of the diapers after the trial period, we can deduct it from the deposit. Once you return your diapers and supplies in good condition, your deposit will be refunded. Since cloth diapering is meant to save you money, the rental fee is less than what you would probably spend on disposable diapers for 2 weeks!

When you order your trial diapers, we would love to spend about 30 minutes with you to go through all the diapers to help you understand how each one works and the benefits of each. We will talk about the different diapering methods, how to wash them, what to do with the poo, what to do when you're out of the house, etc. It's basically a one-on-one, hands-on cloth diapering class! You can also call or email at any time during your trial with any questions.

For the diapers that are not adjustable, we will choose the size that will most likely fit your baby the best. If they don't fit, you can exchange them for a different size for the remainder of your trial period.

If you don't live in the KC metro area, we'd be happy to ship a diaper trial package to you. You would ship back the diapers and supplies when your trial is over to receive your deposit. You would be responsible for the shipping charges, and the rental period will include the days when diapers are in transit.
